Mach-E Rally First Drive Review: Bringing Us Dreams Of The WRC

The Ford Mach-E is one of the best-selling and most loved electric vehicles on the market, especially since there is a trim level and set of options for everyone. With the introduction of the Mach-E Rally, Ford has given customers one of the most unique offerings around, especially in the EV space. Recently, Emme Hall from Autoblog got the opportunity to put this EV Rally car to the test at the DirtFish Rally Driving School in Snoqualmie, WA, about 30 miles outside of Seattle. What Makes a Mach-E Rally? Starting off, the Mach-E Rally gets the same dual motor 91 kWh battery as the GT trim level. The Rally has 480 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque with eAWD. Ford claims a 0-60 mph time of a staggering 3.4 seconds while still getting an EPA-estimated 265 miles of driving range. To make sure the Mach-E is ready for the rally course, Ford added an extra inch lift with skid plates to protect the motors that sit in both the front and rear of the vehicle, as well as a giant rear spoiler and larger 385mm front brake rotors with red Brembo calipers. Standard white 19-inch rally-style wheels are wrapped in 235/55 R19 Michelin CrossClimate2 all-season tires. There Was No Raining That Could Spoil This Fun Parade The day that Emme arrived, it was raining, and the courses were wet, muddy, and very slippery. But, before she was let loose, she was given some time on the smaller rally courses at the DirtFish Rally School to test out the various driving modes primarily meant for the street. This helped her understand the differences in the MagneRide suspension tuning, power delivery, braking, and handling performance once she switched to the RallySport mode. In the ultimate street mode, Unbridled, she noticed how hard the traction control works to keep the Mach-E settled and not get too wild. RallySport Mode After a few laps to get ready, she was taken to the larger course to really put the Rally through its paces, saying, “We move to the larger track and I select the new RallySport mode. Now I have the full shebang at my disposal. The steering gets much heftier and communicates a bit more feel into the hands. It’s easier to tell when the tires are close to the edge of grip. RallySport mode doesn’t turn off all the nannies, but traction control is definitely less heavy-handed. Oh, and there isn’t any lift-off throttle brake regeneration. I have to use the mechanical brakes to get this 5,000-pound beast to slow down before a turn.” Loads of Torque and An Amazing All-Wheel Drive System Driving harder and harder with each lap, Ms. Hall continued to grow her confidence with the Mach-E Rally and enjoyed how much power was on tap since it’s an EV with no lag in throttle response: “ RallySport mode brings the torque in much quicker, and it’s very linear. Combined with the single-speed transmission, it means that I always have power coming out of a turn. There is no shifting here, no turbo lag — just getting on the throttle quickly, squeezing out the power and letting the all-wheel-drive system claw its way around the turn. Do I induce oversteer a few times? Heck yeah, I do! But a bit of countersteering and patience keep the Mach-E from coming around all the way.” The Mach-E Can Do It All It seems pretty evident that Emme Hall and Autoblog enjoyed their time exploring the limits of the 2024 Ford Mach-E Rally. When such a fun and unique vehicle is made, it’s designed and engineered by people who truly love what they are creating. That’s exactly what makes the Mach-E Rally so brilliant. How many companies are willing to sell customers an electric rally crossover SUV? Instead of asking why, Donna Dickson, Chief Engineer, Mach-E, said, “Why not?” Why Choose Benna Ford? At Benna Ford, we offer our customers some of the best prices and services. With more than 100 new and used vehicles to choose from, our outstanding sales team and finance department will work hard to ensure you drive away happy. Our fantastic service department will take care of your new-to-you vehicle as if it were their own.

No. 88 Mustang GT3 Drivers Dennis Olsen, Giorgio Roda, and Mikkel O. Pedersen Celebrating Their Victory

Mustang GT3 Podiums At 24 Hours Of LeMans

2024 is the Mustang’s 60th birthday. As it turns out, the car in Mustang GT3 form gave us the present with a podium finish in its first run in the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans. The No. 88 Mustang GT3, driven by Dennis Olsen, Giorgio Roda, and Mikkel O. Pedersen, hit the 24-hour mark third in the LMGT3 category. The No. 44 car, driven by Christopher Mies, John Hartshorne, and Ben Tuck, finished close behind in fourth place. This Benna Ford blog post elaborates on this achievement. It is generally understood that you don’t go to Le Mans the first time to win. You go with the hope of just finishing. You then lick your wounds and determine what you need to do to actually win. Even the now Hollywood-famous Ford GT failed to finish in its first run at LeMans in 1964, only to have its legendary 1-2-3 win two years later. While there is nothing like taking first place, reaching third and fourth in a car’s first LeMans run is quite the accomplishment. As an additional victory, all three Mustang GT3s that entered the race finished it 24 hours later. 2024 is not only the Mustang’s 60th anniversary. It is also the 60th anniversary of the nameplate’s first racing win in France when the freshly born 1964 Mustang won its class in the 1964 Tour de France, another automotive endurance race that is now better known as the multi-day bicycle race of the same name. Of the 117 cars that started that race in 1964, only 36 finished. The winner of the Touring 3.0-liter+ Class was the 1964 Mustang, which snatched a victory from Jaguar’s sedans, which had won the class for the previous four years. The third Mustang GT3 entered the 2024 LeMans was #77, driven by Ryan Hardwick, Ben Barker, and Zacharie Robichon. The car experienced early challenges on the track during the race but completed the 24 hours in the 17th class position. They had a victory earlier in the week when they recorded the fastest qualifying lap on Thursday, advancing to the Hyperpole, a pre-race ceremony of the fastest cars in each class to qualify. It also marked the first lead qualifying position by a Mustang GT3 after four rounds of WEC racing so far in 2024. “Today’s podium performance shows that Mustang can come and compete on the global stage against the best sports cars in the world,” said Mark Rushbrook, Global Director of Ford Performance Motorsports. “It is such a fantastic feeling to be able to do it in the first outing for Mustang at Le Mans. It’s a great testament to our company, our employees and all our fans who are celebrating Mustang’s 60 th anniversary this year and all the great partners we have with Proton Competition, M-Sport and Multimatic Motorsports. We’re racing and winning all around the world, but to have a podium here at Le Mans is such a special moment.” “It’s always great to be on the podium and especially at Le Mans,” said Christian Ried, Proton Competition Team Principal. “But also, in the first year of a new car, and in the 60th Anniversary of Mustang, there are just so many things that came together to make today possible. It’s unbelievable. We saw that this was a good car at its debut in Daytona, and we’ve since taken all the steps in order to make this work in its first season. From Daytona, Sebring and Long Beach, to Qatar, Imola and Spa, we felt like we could bring a car here after those six months that could fight for the win. To finish on the podium in third is amazing. I’m proud of everyone.” While the Mustang GT3 is heavily modified to compete in the GT3 class, all GT3 competitors must be based on production models. Redesigned for its 60th year, the production Mustang is quite impressive in its own right. Even the smallest 2.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine produces 315 horsepower, over 100 horsepower more than the V8 of the original model. The 4th generation Coyote V8 is rated at 480 - 486 horsepower in the GT, while the Dark Horse model achieves 500 hp. Benna Ford invites you to take a close look at this winning vehicle in its street-legal form.

60 Years of the Ford Mustang

Mustang Celebrates 60 Years of Fun Driving

Not many automotive nameplates span a consecutive 60 years, much less something as seemingly ephemeral as a sports coupe.  However, it was 60 years ago, on April 14th, when the public saw the first Mustang on a stand at the Ford Pavilion at the New York World’s Fair. The Mustang went on to set a new sales record for a vehicle in its first year, with over 418,000 models sold. Since then, the Mustang line has continued unbroken through 7 generations. Its shape has varied, but - putting aside the Mach-E for a moment - it was always a 2-door sport coupe with a front engine, rear-wheel drive, and a V-8 among the engine options. Benna Ford has been proud of every Mustang we have watched drive off our lot to an excited customer. Owning a Mustang has never required a lot of money, just a desire for something fun, more personal, a little less practical, and a lot more stylish. Some models have been economical, others blindingly fast. Because fun is at its center, the lineup has always had a convertible. It has become the “all-American sports car” even as its sales spread across six of the seven continents. Mustang Experience Center and Celebration Naturally, Ford has not let this anniversary pass by quietly. It is opening the Mustang Experience Center adjacent to the iconic Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The center will include a Mustang-focused Ford Heritage Gallery, an aftermarket parts shop, a retail store for Mustang merchandise, and the Ford Performance Racing School’s hands-on track instruction, teaching Mustang owners how to best enjoy and harness the performance of their cars. This was the obvious location for the Mustang 60th anniversary celebration on April 17th. Mustang owners came from across the country and even around the world to compare their rides, ride along drifting Mustangs on the Charlotte track, and simply celebrate all things Mustang. Limited Edition Anniversary Package Here, Ford revealed its 60th-anniversary Package, a limited-production model, with only 1,965 being built. Naturally available in red, white, and blue, the package brings back subtle reminders of the first Mustang that blend in with what the Mustang has become.  It starts with rocker panel stripes that recall the first-generation model’s “racing stripes.”  20-inch 5-spoke wheels combine a machine finish with Dark Gravity Gray and feature stamped galloping Mustang center caps inspired by those on the 1965 model.  The grille mesh recalls that on the original model with silver-finish nostrils that feed air into the 5.0-liter V8 and the iconic galloping Mustang badge in the center. Impossible to do in 1965, the new Mustang has headlights that echo the triple-themed taillights that have long been a Mustang design element. Smoked headlight housings accentuate these lights on the 60th Anniversary Package. Race Red and Vapor Blue models are fitted with silver side mirror caps as a callback to the chrome mirror housings of the original. Ford Mustang Global Gallop Finally, to celebrate the Mustang’s global presence, the Ford Mustang Global Gallop will lend 7th generation Mustangs and Mustang Mach E’s to 60 journalists, content creators, and Mustang ambassadors from around the world with the simple instruction to drive someplace cool and tell of the experience. The Mustang experience has always been about driving for the sheer fun of it. Benna Ford is proud to have played a small part in the Mustang’s journey. That's why we sell not only the Mustang and Mustang Mach-E but also high-performance Mustang models from Shelby American Inc., whose founder started modifying Mustangs 60 years ago. Visit Benna Ford to start your own Mustang experience.

Sydney Sweeney and Ford Mustang

Sydney Sweeney Designs Dream Ford Mustang for a Trailblazing Fan

The 2024 Ford Mustang is celebrating its 60th year, and for that special anniversary, Ford is partnering with twice-Emmy-nominated actress and current TV and film star Sydney Sweeney. The talented actress is best known for her roles in such shows as HBO’s White Lotus and Euphoria, as well as the recent summer romantic-comedy blockbuster, “Anyone But You,” which made $190.5 million on a $25 million budget. Sydney’s Very Own Classic Mustang Sweeney owns a 1965 Mustang she has lovingly named Britney. Thanks to Ford, the new Britney will be produced for her, as well as for a yet-to-be-announced contest winner. A Word From Sydney Sweeney “It’s heartening to see Ford celebrate individuals who are pushing past stereotypes to do what they love. That’s why I was so excited to work with Ford on designing my dream car, and I can’t wait to surprise someone special with a matching vehicle,” said Sydney Sweeney, the superstar actress. A Special Custom Mustang The actress's own Mustang is painted in Brittany Blue. This new custom Mustang will be painted in Robin’s Egg Blue with a crushed glass clear coat, as well as feature stylings and appointments that are meant to evoke the classic taste with a modern flair and feel, including unique 20-inch wheels, heart bolt emblems on the fenders and in the interior, plus LEDs in the headliner that change colors to look like a starry night drive. A Message From Ford One of the things that makes this a fantastic match is the relationship Ms. Sweeney has with her own ‘65 Mustang. As Laurie Transou, Ford Mustang Chief Engineer, said, "Like me, Sydney is a Mustang girl. Each generation has its own distinct personality, but at their core, they embody a spirit of disruption, edge, and undeniable allure. Sydney's interpretation of the Mustang captures this essence perfectly, reflecting the expressive and individualistic nature of those who are drawn to this iconic vehicle." A Great Relationship In March of 2023, Ford and Sydney teamed up for the new workwear collection from the Ford x Sydney collaboration. In addition, a TikTok account called Syd’s Garage was introduced that is dedicated to showcasing Sydney's love for her various Ford project cars that she works on in her free time. At Benna Ford, we offer our customers some of the best prices and services. With more than 100 new and used vehicles to choose from, our outstanding sales team and finance department will work hard to make sure you drive away happy. And our fantastic service department will take care of your new-to-you vehicle as if it were their own.

Mustang Dark Horse 02_converted

Mustang Dark Horse is MAMA’s Favorite Performance Vehicle

The Midwest Automotive Media Association (MAMA) announced seven category winners last fall. Benna Ford is happy to tell you that the Mustang Dark Horse was named their favorite Performance vehicle. Each category winner will be a finalist for MAMA’s Favorite Vehicle of 2024 award. The Favorite Performance Vehicle and four other category favorites are new from MAMA, which previously only issued awards for Favorite Family Vehicle of the Year and Favorite Luxury Family Vehicle of the Year. The organization expanded its awards to “recognize the diversity of vehicles available and of interest to the readers, viewers, and listeners of MAMA’s membership base.” MAMA was founded in 1994 and now comprises 273 automotive journalists and public relations professionals from across the U.S. and Canada. The automotive journalists have been testing vehicles throughout the year for their particular media outlets, and all members are invited to gather together for three drive events: The MAMA Spring Rally MAMA’s Favorites Fall Fest Chicago Drives Electric Voting for the category favorites narrowed a field of over 100 eligible models to a few select members in each category. In the fall, they selected the Mustang Dark Horse and the other category winners. “With more than 100 new, redesigned, or refreshed vehicles MAMA members could drive during 2023, it was time to assess the breadth and depth of product at each event and for the year as a whole,” said Robert Duffer, MAMA President. “You could say MAMA loves all of her vehicles equally, but everyone knows there’s only one MAMA’s Favorite.” Though they riffed plenty on their MAMA acronym, the organization of communicators did not explain their reasons for selecting the Mustang Dark Horse. Still, it is not hard to imagine how the 5.0-liter V-8 producing 500 horsepower while still being naturally aspirated could capture their attention. The choice in transmissions is between the 10-speed, which is capable of greater acceleration and lap times, or the rev-matching 6-speed manual, which is simply more fun. A Torsen LSD, tighter chassis tuning, and Brembo six-piston front calipers clamping on 15.4-inch rotors, plus four-piston calipers and 14.0-inch rotors, round out the performance. It probably also doesn’t hurt that the Dark Horse shows the Mustang proudly soldiering forward while the Camero and Challenger say their goodbyes again. MAMA members will now vote on which finalists they will award as MAMA's Favorite Vehicle of 2024, which will be announced on February 8 at the 2024 Chicago Auto Show during a MAMA-hosted breakfast. As they have done non-stop for 60 years (as of April 17th, 2024), Ford keeps the high-performance sport coupe tradition alive in America. If you would like that tradition in your driveway, visit Benna Ford for a thrilling test drive.

Mustang Dark Horse

Mustang Dark Horse Is Finalist For MotorAuthority Best Buy

Motor Authority Annual Best Car To Buy Every year Motor Authority holds their Best Car To Buy, and for the 2024 challenge, they took roughly 25 new or updated luxury and performance cars, trucks, and SUVs, and chose just 5 of the bunch to be named the site’s best of the best. The official winner will be announced on January 3, 2024. One of the five finalists they chose was the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Why The Dark Horse When talking about why they chose the Dark Horse as one of their finalists, Motor Authority said, “The Ford Mustang will be the last pony car standing at the end of this year, and the S650 generation brings with it a monster, the Dark Horse. With 500 hp from a naturally aspirated V-8, dual throttle bodies, and an available handling package with sticky Pirelli Trofeo RS tires, the Mustang has morphed into a thoroughbred sports car.” The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse is seemingly a performance bargain, especially when fitted with the ultra-wow Pirelli Trofeo RS tires that are normally reserved for extreme super and hyper cars that cost in the hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. However, the Mustang, at roughly $60,000, wears them so that drivers can get the maximum amount of performance out of the Mustang as possible. Engine And Brakes As mentioned, the Dark Horse Mustang features a Coyote 5.0-liter V8 that muscles out 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque, aided by a dual throttle body intake and connecting rods courtesy of the Shelby GT500. Either a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission can be had to put that power to the rear wheels. From their years of racing, Ford has given the Dark Horse larger rear sway bars, MagneRide adaptive dampers, and Brembo 6-piston brakes both front and rear to haul the vehicle down from high speeds. The 2024 Mustang Dark Horse is available for purchase or a custom order now. At Benna Ford, we offer our customers some of the best prices and services. With more than 100 new and used vehicles to choose from, our outstanding sales team and finance department will work hard to make sure you drive away happy. And our fantastic service department will take care of your new-to-you vehicle as if it were their own.

Sydney Sweeney and Ford Collaboration, Jacket

Ford Expands Clothing Line Collaboration with Sydney Sweeney

Early in 2023, Ford entered into a partnership with actress Sydney Sweeney for a line of women’s workwear. The line launched in March and the most popular items sold out in a matter of days. Ford has announced that it is extending and expanding its clothing line collaboration with Sweeney. Grew up with Mechanics Sweeney is best known for her starring role in HBO’s Emmy-winning teen drama “Euphoria” as well as the first season of “White Lotus”. She grew up in Spokane, Washington, with a family of mechanics, so cars and car culture have been a large part of her life. She contributes to that culture herself by use of her TikTok channel, where she has documented restoring her 1969 Ford Bronco. She has used both that channel and Ford’s Instagram account to display her off-roading with the Bronco in Moab, Utah. Another Ford owned by Sweeney, her beloved Brittany Blue 1965 Mustang, inspired the new line. The line is also intended to be part of a wider campaign to encourage more women to become involved with the automotive industry. For nearly 60 years, Mustang has represented freedom and self-expression. Collaborating with Sydney and her love for her 1965 Mustang celebrates what that can look like. For Sydney, it meant embracing a new hobby to restore the vehicle of her dreams, and designing a clothing line that makes women feel comfortable and empowered to do the same,” says Erica Martin, Ford marketing communications manager. Designed by Ford and Sweeney, Made by Dickies The expanded line will be produced by the well-known maker of work clothes, Dickies. The new line will include denim coveralls, a racing jacket, a corduroy hat, a T-shirt, and a keychain. Ford will display the line with an online lookbook with the products modeled by celebrity female automotive restoration enthusiasts with an online presence, such as Adi Law, Gelica Peralta, Sandy Rancatore, Isabella Rosa, and automotive expert and analyst Lauren Fix. The lookbook will also provide step-by-step instructions for basic vehicle maintenance, changing a car battery, and checking tire pressure, brake fluid, and oil. “I love working in the garage and was so excited to partner with Ford on a clothing line that’s comfortable in and out of the shop,” said Sweeney. “I was so thrilled that Ford wanted to use auto enthusiasts to model the clothing and create content that teaches people how to do basic maintenance tasks on their vehicles. Being able to take my car into my own hands has been so empowering for me – and I hope this can inspire others who may have never considered working on their vehicle themselves to give it a try.” The clothing line can be found and purchased at merchandise.ford.com. Of course, Ford vehicles can be found here at Benna Ford. Contact us today and get behind the wheel of a new Ford!

2024 Ford Mustang Owners Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Ford Levels Up Mustang Ownership With New Track School

Ford is allowing owners of the all-new, seventh-generation Mustang to take their vehicle to the race track and learn from some of the most experienced professional driving instructors in the country, as well as access to a new online portal that will connect 2024 Mustang owners from all over the country, along with some lifestyle events. “The Ford Mustang is all about two things: its community of passionate fans and racing. We’re combining those qualities and giving owners the opportunity to learn some of the same skills our racing drivers will take to Daytona and Le Mans next year,” said Matt Simpson, general manager for Enthusiast Vehicles. “And they’ll do so alongside their fellow enthusiasts.” Customers who purchase a brand new Ford Mustang Dark Horse will get the chance of a lifetime at the Mustang Dark Horse Track Attack at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Owners can drive the skid pad, autocross, and Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval (road course plus oval track). The event kicks off the evening prior to driving at a private reception at the CMS Champion’s Club that overlooks the track. The following morning, drivers will head to the track and get briefed in the classroom with on-track instruction to follow. Instructors will first teach owners how to utilize the no-lift-shift system in the first-ever Dark Horse before heading out onto the skid pad and the autocross portions of the track. Once you have learned how to properly take control of your car, you will be led around the Roval in a lead-follow that consists of three 20-minute sessions, with a hot lap as the passenger in an instructor’s car. Dark Horse buyers can sign up for this program starting in January 2024. For the first time, Ford Mustang EcoBoost and GT buyers will be able to take part in their own Track Attack program at Charlotte Motor Speedway, doing much the same thing that Dark Horse customers will get to do. This allows all Mustang owners to be more enthusiastic about the incredible performance of the latest generation car. The new digital portal will be a Mustang enthusiast’s paradise, letting owners gather online friends within the Mustang community. Cross-country events held in 10 U.S. markets will allow enthusiasts to meet up for automotive, lifestyle, and motorsports events. “Ford Mustang fans make this car what it is – a global icon for performance and excitement. And now, we’re giving owners a chance to connect regardless of distance and share their passion,” Mustang Brand Manager Joe Bellino said. At Benna Ford, we offer our customers some of the best prices and services. With more than 100 new and used vehicles to choose from, our outstanding sales team and finance department will work hard to make sure you drive away happy. And our fantastic service department will take care of your new-to-you vehicle as if it were their own.

The New 2024 Ford Mustang, testing the performance.

2024 EcoBoost Mustang Draws Rave Reviews

The introduction of the 2024 Ford Mustang shows that Americans still want fun, fast, and sporty coupes. Whether you love screaming V8s or Turbocharged 4-Cylinders, the S650 Mustang has you covered. S650 is the chassis code for this new generation of Mustang. With the media getting the chance to drive the new Mustang, so far, they have been absolutely raving about the EcoBoost for being great for everyday use while still being sporty to still feel like it has the muscle you want from a Mustang. The 2024 Mustang EcoBoost features a 2.3-liter EcoBoost Twin-Scroll Turbocharged Inline-4 Cylinder that produces 315 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that will fire off shifts faster than you can say “Weee”. EPA estimated fuel mileage is 22 city mpg and 33 highway mpg, respectively. The EcoBoost is here to stay and has proven to be just as much of a Mustang as the GT model. When talking about the power and sound from the all-new EcoBoost Mustang, MotorTrend said, “In this modern era of easy speed, you'll never mistake the revised EcoBoost for being fast, but it'll likely embarrass most V-8-powered Mustangs built prior to 2010. The fourth-gen EcoBoost mill makes more power earlier in the rev range than the EcoBoost it replaces, staying on the boil for longer. Equipped with the optional active exhaust system, the new 2024 Ford Mustang EcoBoost even sounds pretty good, replacing the previous car's hot hatch soundtrack with a low, throaty rumble.” Inside, the new EcoBoost arrives with a standard 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen. The digital instrument cluster can be customized to show different themes, such as Normal, Sport, Track, Fox Body, and Calm. Yes, you read that right: you can make your digital gauge cluster look just like the analog gauges out of a 1987-1993 Fox Body Mustang. Leather Recaro racing buckets are optional with the also optional Performance Package. One of the main options that journalists are loving is the new Drift Brake. With the optional Drift Brake, your physical parking brake, by way of a button, can be turned into a drift actuator, essentially. Autoblog dedicated an entire article to the Drift Brake saying, “Step one: Gun it. Step two: Yank up on the handbrake and crank the wheel with your left hand from 2 o’clock down to 7. Step three: Feel the car whip around, bring handbrake down, gun it again. Congratulations, you are drifting in the 2024 Ford Mustang thanks to its new, unique-to-a-production-car electronic drift brake. It couldn’t be easier. You can also do some pretty sick Ace Ventura parking jobs.” If you are interested in the all-new 2024 Ford Mustang, Benna Ford is happy to assist you in answering any questions or helping you order one for yourself. Our talented sales team will work to ensure your satisfaction with the purchase of a new or used vehicle. Our fantastic service department will make sure that your vehicle stays in the absolute best condition possible. We look forward to serving you.

How Would You Customize The 2024 Mustang?

The Ford Mustang has always been about freedom. It makes sense when you think about its name. Surprisingly, how the Mustang got its name is actually a major topic of controversy among some people. Regardless of the true origin of the name, what has stuck around when it comes to the Mustang is the principle of free-roaming horses, as well as P-51 Mustang planes. The Pony car has long been combined with both icons, both in photography and videography, as well as special edition P-51-inspired models. 2024 Ford Mustang Engines With the introduction of the new, 2024 Ford Mustang, people are customizing their cars through orders like never before. Starting at just $32,515, the new car is a bargain for its feature set and performance. Under the hood is your choice of either a 2.3-liter EcoBoost Turbocharged Inline-4 cylinder engine producing 315 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. V8 Mustangs feature the 5.0-liter Coyote naturally-aspirated V8 that produces 480 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. The top-of-the-line Dark Horse keeps the Coyote and takes it to 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque. Transmissions 2024 Mustangs with the EcoBoost engine only come with the 10-speed automatic transmission, while the GT buyers choose between a 6-speed manual or the 10-speed. Dark Horse models get the Tremec TR-3160, the transmission that was in the 2015-2020 GT350, and the 2021-2022 Mach 1. Standard GT Mustangs get the tried and true MT-82 6-speed manual. Option and Color Take Rates According to Ford, 27% of all orders thus far have been placed with the manual transmission. Interestingly, 50% of EcoBoost buyers have opted for the Electronic Drift Brake when optioning the High-Performance Package, which is a higher take rate than on EcoBoost HPP cars over the past 3 years. Ford F150 Shelby SuperSnake Package

Big Savings On Big Toys at Benna Ford Toy Store

Now that summer is here, the Benna Ford Toy Store is offering thousands of dollars off your next specialty F-Series or Ranger pickup truck. You can save up to $14,000 on vehicles like the Limited Edition 2022 Ford F-150 Lariat FTX or Ops Packages by Tuscany, or over $9,000 off a new Ranger Roush Package truck. We are also offering $5,000 off a 2021 Ford F-150 Shelby SuperSnake 775 HP. We are offering $3,000 off a brand new, 2023 F-150 XLT Roush. What is Benna Ford’s Toy Store? Simply put, it is specifically for our modified and aftermarket Ford trucks and cars, such as the F-150, Ranger, and Mustang. We currently have more than a dozen trucks with thousands of dollars off, with the possibility of up to $4,000 in Ford Conditional Rebates. One of the joys of owning a car is making it your own, whether that be adding visual or performance modifications. This can get confusing, though. What happens when you buy a cold air intake from one company and a supercharger from another company?  And who are you going to trust to do the work for your new vehicle? This can be very daunting and frustrating, especially if you have a budget you want to work with. The Benna Toy Store offers custom vehicles from Shelby, Roush, Waldoch, and Tuscany Motor Co. by Fox Factory, and instead of trying to figure out who is going to build your next vehicle, we already have those vehicles at our dealership waiting for you to come check out and drive home. We take the fear out of dealing with aftermarket parts, service, and customization by building and modifying vehicles for you. If you are looking for a vehicle in a specific color or with certain options that we don’t currently have at Benna Ford, we are happy to sit down with you and go through everything that you would like done to your next vehicle. Whether you are in the market for a new, pre-owned vehicle, or a customized truck or car, Benna Ford has what you need Shop The Toy Store Contact Benna Ford
