Benna Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Donates Van and Continues Platinum Partnership with Just Kids Dental

Dental disease is the most common chronic childhood illness found today, and the burden of disease falls disproportionately on low-income children.

The mission of Just Kids Dental is to increase access to care for economically disadvantaged children who currently receive little or no dental care. They not only provide free dental care, but they provide it at schools where the kids are. The Wisconsin and Minnesota school districts they serve include:

  • Lake Superior School District
  • Proctor Public Schools
  • Cloquet School District
  • Carlton School District
  • Wrenshall School District
  • Cromwell-Wright School District
  • Moose Lake Community School
  • Barnum School District
  • School District of Superior
  • School District of Solon Springs


The program also includes in-class oral health and nutrition education presentations by the same dental hygienists to increase children’s awareness of the importance of good oral health, which affects overall health.

Benna Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Contributes Third Transit Connect Van

Benna Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has recently provided their third Transit Connect van to ensure the safe, efficient delivery of dental equipment and supplies to hundreds of clinics and community events yearly. After driving thousands of miles yearly, JKD staff are thrilled with the smooth driving and ease in maneuvering Transit Connect vans so that together, we all make a positive difference for local kids. 

“This is one of the neatest programs I have ever seen in my 23 years here!” says Rob Hobbs, Benna Ford General Manager.

Benna Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a Platinum sponsor of the  11th annual Sips & Slices fundraiser for JKD, which will occur at the Superior Curling Club. This is a fun-filled pizza, beer, wine, and seltzer tasting event with a silent auction and many different raffles. The pizza, beer, wine, and seltzer are donated by local vendors for the event. Other businesses are encouraged to be sponsors as well, at either the Platinum, Gold, or Silver levels. The details for both the event and sponsorship programs can be found in the link just above.
