The Ford F-150 is the best-selling vehicle in America for the past 43 years. As Denis Leary says in the commercials, “it doesn’t raise the bar, it IS THE BAR!”

Recently, Ford conducted a survey of pickup truck owners to find out who they are and what they do with their vehicle. The results may or may not surprise you.

Truck owners are as diverse as we are. They are represented in every age group, gender, and economic status.

They are also loyal to the core. They would never give up their truck over drinking – alcohol and coffee – and would rather not have a streaming service, than not have their truck. Truck owners are protective of their steeds – and they truly put them to work. In fact, they see their truck as another tool in the toolbox.

What words do truck owners describe how they feel about their trucks? The survey said they use words such as “capable,” “dependable,” “self-reliant,” and “proud.” Twenty-five percent of the owners surveyed also give their truck a name. Nothing wrong with that!

The pickup truck is also a cultural icon – especially right here in the Twin Ports area. Did you know that there are 180-plus songs about trucks? They are even featured in over 3,000 movies and television shows.

Even more important is how a truck is seen as a helper to others. Because you have a truck, you may help a neighbor bring home a large piece of furniture or help move across the bay. In fact, 94% of the survey respondents stated that they used their truck to help others; 34% state that they have helped others on a weekly basis.

Do any of these describe you? They point to one thing – the Ford F-150 is the most useful vehicle you can get right now! You can make friends out of neighbors, become more self-reliant and proud…and you might as well give it a name!

Benna Ford has a great selection of F-150 pickup trucks available for you to take home today. Contact us and test drive a dependable, capable, and friendly pickup truck!

Why Bronco, why now?
Building on Ford’s strength in SUVs, seeing the most SUVs ever purchased in 2019, and a growing surge in consumers wanting to get back to nature, there couldn’t be a better time to bring America’s first and original “sports utility vehicle” back to market. Just look at Bronco as the top trending automotive topic in Google analytics.

Why do you think Bronco is trending and is so popular among off-road enthusiasts and Americans interested in new vehicles right now?
After we shelved the Bronco in 1996, a funny thing happened. Love for Bronco only grew. Bronco clubs proliferated around the country. Classic Broncos became the one of the most highly sought after and collectible vehicles on the U.S. market. The resto-mod crowd at SEMA, our dealers, off-road enthusiasts and Ford employees think of Bronco as more than a vehicle. It’s an idea — one that connects us to our love of the outdoors and getting into the wild.

When did the original Bronco debut?
Bronco debuted on August 11, 1965, as a 1966 model year vehicle.

How many generations of Bronco are there?
The all-new Bronco is the sixth generation of Bronco since the vehicle’s release in 1966.

Why did Bronco end in 1996?
Popularity of old school, two-door, truck-based SUVs waned in the 1990s. Consumer tastes in the 1990s shifted, and Ford took advantage of the growing four-door SUV markets with all-new vehicles like Ford Explorer (America’s best-selling SUV for more than the past quarter-century) and full-size Ford Expedition.

What will all Bronco models have in common?
Every Bronco is Built Wild, delivering a thrilling and confident off-road experience that uniquely draws from 55 years of design and racing heritage plus ingenious adventurer-centered design insights and Bronco-variant architectures to create modern and fun-to-drive off-road vehicles.

What is the difference between Bronco and Bronco Sport?
Bronco is a body-on-frame vehicle, while Bronco Sport is a unibody vehicle. Both come with 4×4 standard and are intended for off-road use.

Will all Bronco vehicles have 4×4?
Yes, all Broncos will have 4×4, making Bronco the only domestic family of SUVs with standard 4×4.

What makes up Bronco’s Built Wild promise?
Built Wild is our brand promise for every Bronco model to deliver on our three key pillars: Built Wild Extreme Durability Testing, Built Wild Capability and Built Wild Innovative Design.

What is Built Wild Extreme Durability Testing pillar about?
To u g h n e s s . Our Built Wild Extreme Durability Testing torture tests across thousands of lab, proving ground and real-world extreme challenges in the harshest climates.

What is Built Wild Capability pillar about?
It speaks to the legendary 4×4 confidence to Go Over Any type of Terrain (G.O.A.T.) provided by unique Bronco-variant architectures with class-leading levels of capability, suspension and trail technologies.

What is the Built Wild Innovative Design pillar about?
Broncos are the future of off-roading, and Built Wild Innovative Design delivers off-road ingenuity, design innovations coupled with heritage inspired DNA, plus new-levels of personalization that can be easily achieved by a novice — all for a truly next-level adventure experience.

Which architecture is the Bronco two- and four-door based on?
The all-new Bronco two- and four-door models feature a Bronco-variant of Ford’s new second-generation global midsize truck architecture. This even more rugged and off-road capable architecture is similar to the Ford Ranger and built alongside the midsize truck at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant.

Which architecture is Bronco Sport built on?
Bronco Sport is a unique vehicle with Bronco DNA. It uses a highly modified, Bronco-specific version of Ford’s small vehicle architecture that’s been optimized to deliver the capability a small rugged SUV demands.

Which accessories is Bronco launching with?
Bronco is launching with more than 200 factory-backed aftermarket accessories for more capability, personalization and style.

Will Bronco Sport come with special accessories, too? What kind and from which partners?
Bronco Sport is launching with more than 100 factory-backed accessories.

What is Bronco Nation? And who is it for?
Bronco Nation is the first and only nationally recognized and certified independent Bronco community. It’s for current and future Bronco owners as well as outdoor and off-road enthusiasts to celebrate and share their passion for Bronco.

What is Ford’s Club Connect program?

Coming later this year will be the only full-size half-ton pickup truck you will ever need – the 2021 Ford F-150.

This new generation pickup truck will offer more efficiency, technology, capacity, and convenience for both work and play. It builds upon the leadership of over four decades of being the best-selling vehicle in America, while advancing the definition of a pickup truck. The 2021 F-150 will set new standards in delivering the most maximum towing, payload, torque, and horsepower of any full-size, half-ton pickup truck.

Ford began to create an evolution in its exterior design by making it more distinctive than ever. Even in the XL trim, you know the F-150 is coming and it will make its presence known. Across all trim levels, Ford will offer 11 different grille designs featuring a distinct personality of its own.

The interior will be completely different in the 2021 F-150. The aim is to create a more comfortable cabin for both work and recreation by infusing new technology, enhanced materials, more storage, new color choices, and overall convenience behind the wheel. A new large infotainment screen will be the hub of the new-generation SYNC 4 system. This new infotainment system will offer over-the-air updates for navigation and other connected features.

As most of us who work need a break now and then, the 2021 F-150 will feature a 180-degree Max Recline Seats. That way, you can nap in your F-150 without having to get out of your pickup truck. For maximum productivity, the new Interior Work Surface feature can let you use your laptop or eat your meal from your driver’s seat.

Another great way to manage productivity is the new available Tailgate Work Surface, enabling you to do your job on site from the tailgate of your F-150. Your tools can be powered up with the available Pro Power Onboard providing power enough to operate your power tools or charge up a portable refrigerator for the end of the work week.

Ford will offer the first fully-hybrid driveline in a full-size pickup truck. The PowerBoost 3.5-liter V6 combines the gasoline engine with an electric motor system driven by a battery that gets its energy back from regenerative braking. The result will be the most horsepower and torque of any gasoline-fueled pickup truck, while delivering at least 12,000 pounds of towing capacity and returning around 700 miles on a full tank of gas.

These are just a few of the highlights of the all-new generation of the best-selling vehicle in America – the 2021 Ford F-150. The name Mach I is legendary. It is a symbol of ultimate performance with an aggressive style to boot.

Since the first one came out in 1969, the Mustang Mach I became the benchmark for attainable high performance. With its tweaked suspension and big power from underneath its hood, no one was able to match or beat this wild pony. For those who wanted more than just a “normal” Mustang and one of Shelby’s own limited production creations, the Mach I gave the driver everything a Mustang could give – and more.

You might have seen one around the streets of the Twin Ports. There’s a few lurking around, hidden from view during the winter. One spring roll around, you can expect one to pop up at a car show. Its owners know how precious this metal has become over the past 51 years.

And, now, Mustang enthusiasts…you wanted some attainable high performance again. You’re about to be rewarded.

For 2021, the Mustang Mach I will return.

It will be the benchmark of attainable high performance once again. The focus will be on a 480-horsepower version of the 5.0-liter V8 currently residing underneath the hood. No turbochargers or superchargers needed. Just raw V8 power. You can choose between a six-speed manual transmission or a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Everything else will be embodied in a fastback coupe with specific design cues that will make the 2021 Mach I stand out – even next to a pristine 1969 version.

If you’re interested in becoming one of the first 2021 Mustang Mach I owners, register your interest by contacting Benna Ford. If you can’t wait for one, don’t worry. We got an inventory of new and used Mustangs available here! Take a test drive and experience the sound of speed.
