For the past 42 years, the Ford F-150 has been the best-selling vehicle in America and the best-selling truck for 47 consecutive years. Ford says a new F-150 was sold every 49 seconds in 2022.

The 2025 F-150 is built with every kind of buyer in mind. Whether you need a dedicated work truck, a recreational vehicle, or a big and safe vehicle to pick up your kids from school, there is no better truck to tackle your every need.

Performance

With the latest 2025 F-150, there are a multitude of engines to choose between, which include:

• 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6: 325 horsepower / 400 lb-ft of torque 
• 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8: 400 horsepower / 410 lb-ft of torque 
• 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6: 400 horsepower / 500 lb-ft of torque 
• 3.5-liter PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6: 430 horsepower / 570 lb-ft of torque

Whether you need the ultimate towing machine, off-road machine, or a comfortable cruiser that packs a full hybrid powertrain, the F-150 does not disappoint. It has all of the power you need with the efficiency you want. F-150 Hybrid models also come with Pro Power Onboard, which gives the truck multiple outlets that allow you to have electrical power on the go. 

Thanks to its best-in-class tow rating of up to 13,500 pounds, the 2025 F-150 allows you to take control. There are tons of capability at the ready. Full towing specs will be released soon. The maximum payload is 2,455 pounds, also best-in-class.

Every F-150 now comes standard with a 36-gallon fuel tank, which gives it more range and efficiency, especially on long journeys.

For off-road fun, there is the Tremor, which sports an upgraded off-road-tuned suspension compared to other trim levels, plus better breakover and departure angles with steel skid plates that allow you the confidence to traverse any off-road terrain. Standard 33-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch matte black wheels with selectable drive modes work to keep the F-150 Tremor comfortable on any surface. 

In addition, you have a choice of two engines for the 2025 F-150 Raptor:

• High Output 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6: 450 horsepower / 510 lb-ft of torque 
• High Output Supercharged 5.2-liter V8: 720 horsepower / 640 lb-ft of torque 

The fast and off-road engineered Raptor line of trucks is the dominant force buyers want in their lives. The Raptor has a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that produces 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Standard 35-inch tires with the optional Performance Package, the Raptor gets 37-inch tires with Fox Racing Shox with Live Valve Technology and optional modular bumpers.

The 5.2-liter supercharged V8 Raptor R has 720 horsepower and 640-lb-ft of torque, and it is also combined with a 10-speed automatic. The Performance Package that is optional on the V6 model is standard on the V8. Both trucks get Trail 1-Pedal Drive, Ford Trail Control, cruise control for low-speed driving, and the Terrain Management System, which features seven different drive modes.

Keeping the 2025 F-150 Raptor suspended are a set of Fox™ Live Valve Shocks with available Fox™ Dual-live Valve Shocks at both front and rear. The 2025 F-150 Raptor also gets a fully-independent suspension to help with maximum articulation and trail management when things get a little rough.

Exterior

Each trim level of the 2025 F-150 wears a specific grille and trim treatment to distinguish one from another. Each has its own character and personality from durable work trucks to fine luxury. Each trim level models get a fender F-150 badges that mirror the appearance of the Super Duty trucks.

The Black Appearance Package is now optional on SXT, XLT, and Lariat models.

Depending on your trim level, a 5.5-foot or 6.5-foot can be had. In each bed are more bed storage boxes, up to two, behind the rear wheel wells on either side of the bed. If you don’t opt for Pro Power Onboard, you will have two storage boxes.

Interior

The 2025 F-150 is rated to be the most spacious cab across all three configurations. The driver gets a 12-inch Digital Productivity Screen keeping you informed of your Raptor’s status on and off the road. Coupled with a Head-Up Display, drivers will have everything they need to see and know while driving right in front of their eyes. There are custom views when using BlueCruise and if you are towing or hauling.

The 2025 F-150 also features a Pro-Access Tailgate. Pro-Access Tailgate design has a hinge that allows you to open part of the tailgate like a door, putting you closer to the bed to retrieve items more quickly. Even if a trailer is hooked up, the swing-out design allows you to gain access to the bed. The tailgate door can open to 37, 70, or 100 degrees.

Technology

Standard across all models and trim levels is a 12-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with Sync 4. Available is the B&O Unleashed audio system feeding the cabin with supreme sound. You also get a 5G LTE Wi-Fi connection along with wireless smartphone integration.

The new 2025 F-150 features Ford BlueCruise, an Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) that has traveled more than 100 million hands-free miles in customers' hands, equating to customers experiencing over 1.4 million hours of driving time. Experience the latest and greatest Driver Assist technology with BlueCruise 1.2.

The 2025 F-150 comes with Pro Power Onboard, which features a set of outlets in the truck bed. On gas-powered models, you can option 2kW, which is good enough to power a television, speaker, blender, mini fridge, and electric heater. The PowerBoost Hybrid F-150 comes standard with 2.4kW, which can power electronics for up to 85 hours with a full tank of gasoline. PowerBoost models can be optioned with 7.2kW, which is good enough to power a framing crew, mobile metal/welding shop, or a dirt bike mobile shop for 32 hours.

The new 2025 model will help buyers with advanced driver-assist features like Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Pro Trailer Hitch Assist. Together, they make reversing up to a trailer and reversing with a trailer much more manageable, allowing drivers to waste less time getting hitched up or getting the trailer parked where it belongs.

With Smart Hitch, the truck measures the tongue weight to help buyers properly tow, reducing the possibility of trailer sway while driving with a trailer attached.

Ford is using Stolen Vehicles Services in the 2025 F-150, a service that can help locate and recover stolen trucks. Owners can use the FordPass app to report their vehicle as stolen through the Ford Stolen Vehicle Services Call Center. Together, they will work with the police to track your vehicle and help recover it.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Ford Co-Pilot360 offers an impressive array of safety features, such as Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection to help avoid a possible collision with another vehicle or a pedestrian, rearview camera with dynamic hitch assist, and auto high-beam headlamps and auto on/off headlamps.
