The Long-Awaited Return of the Ford Ranger

The Ranger is back!

Once the most popular small pickup truck in America, the Ford Ranger has been taking the truck business by storm. It is a bold, strong, tough and powerful - exactly what we want in a midsize pickup truck for Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota!

The Ranger comes with a 270-horsepower 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engine - the only midsize pickup with a turbocharged gasoline engine. It offers more low-end grunt than any gasoline-fueled midsize pickup truck with 310 pound-feet of torque. This engine will be mated to another segment exclusive -- a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Enhancing the Ranger experience is a trio of technological advances not seen in the small pickup segment. First, the FX4 Off-Road Package offers a host of all-terrain driver enhancement technologies, including Terrain Management System and Trail Control that helps control the Ranger through various terrain and traction conditions. The FX4 Package also adds protective skid plates, upgraded tires, off-road-tuned shocks and suspension.

Automatic Emergency Braking is standard on the new Ranger. It also hosts other active safety and driver's assistance technologies that are both standard and available on this midsize pickup truck - some of which are segment firsts and exclusives. Not to mention, the Ranger has SYNC3 with all of its connectivity and infotainment options available, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Ford + Alexa voice recognition, FordPass Connect with Wi-Fi connectivity, and available B&O Play - all wrapped up in an 8-inch touch screen.

The most important piece is Ranger's built-in toughness. The backbone of this new truck is a high-strength steel frame built at the same grade as the F-150. On top of this frame is a handsome cab and box design. Customers can choose between a SuperCab or SuperCrew configuration. Trim choice range from the XL, the XLT, and the Lariat, with packages available across each trim level.

The 2019 Ranger starts from $24,300.
