Low APR Financing Available on Several Special Benna Ford Models

If you are considering a new car, truck, or SUV, the good news is that our inventories are finally returning to a more normal level. The flip side is the Fed’s attempts to stem inflation from when inventory was low on everything was to raise interest rates. As of this writing, the average new car loan interest rate is 6.4%, and that is if you have a credit score of over 661. But Benna Ford isn’t going to let those interest rates slow things down, so through the end of July, we are offering low-interest rates on many popular models. These interest rates vary by model, but all represent substantial savings for the duration of the loan. The best interest rate, of course, is 0.0% APR, and you will actually find that on select models of the recently redesigned Ford Escape on a 36-month loan. Low APR Financing Puts Tuscany Custom Models in Reach Not much over zero is 0.9% APR for the 2022 model year but still new Ford F-150 Lariats or XLTs with the Tuscany Black Ops treatment that includes custom features such as FOX 2.0 Performance Series Tuned Shocks, 20" Stealth Black Tuscany Black Ops Wheels, Tuscany Suspension Lift, Black Ops Replacement Front Bumper with 40" and 2 6" LED Lights and so much more. There is also 0.9% APR financing for the 2022 Tuscany FTX Package as well, with BDS Suspension System, Tuned Fox Performance Shocks, 20-inch Off-Road Wheels, Integrated Light Bar, and many more performance and aesthetic features. 0.9% APR financing over the course of the 60-month loan represents savings of between $13,500 to $14,881 for these Tuscany customized trucks. You will find 3.9% financing on 2023 F-150 Lariat Black Ops models, and a F-150 XLT SuperCab and Crew Cab models. Even an amazing Mustang Mach-E GT AWD EV is available for 3.9% APR financing for a savings of $3,000. All of these offers are good through the end of July, and the financing is through Ford Motor Credit. The interest rates are for well-qualified buyers. The Powerful New Ford Super Duty Truck climbs steep, rocky terrain with ease

Ford Delivering 2023 Super Duty Trucks to Customers

Ford is now delivering orders for 2023 Super Duty trucks to retail and commercial customers.  A delay occurred due to a $700 million investment at the Louisville, Kentucky truck plant and Ohio assembly plant as part of its zero-Defect Launch Process. The 2023 truck is described by Ford as the most powerful and connected Super Duty ever. “The all-new 2023 Ford F-Series Super Duty is the tough-tested icon that our customers trust. Said Ted Cannis, Ford Pro CEO “It is the smartest and most capable truck we’ve ever built offering must-have towing tech, embedded 5G capability, over-the-air updates plus an entire suite of available Ford Pro Intelligence solutions to help maximize uptime and accelerate productivity. And of course, its best-in-class payload and towing, more than any of our competitors, means this truck can take on any job.” Extensively Strengthened Quality Process Close to 11,000 UAW workers contribute to building a Super Duty, with over 9,000 at the Kentucky plant and an additional 1,800 at the Ohio plant.  The $700 million investments added 500 jobs to the Kentucky plant. As part of the quality improvement process, Production-ready models underwent exhaustive real-world road testing with a particular focus on high mileage tests to meet the demands of Ford Pro commercial customers.  Ford also tripled the number of trucks used in trailer tow testing and nearly quadrupled the count for Built Ford Tough durability testing, providing additional quality data points compared to previous launches. “Never before have I seen teams come together like they have for this Super Duty launch”. Said Super Duty Chief Engineer, Andrew Kernahan. “We are looking to exceed our customers’ expectations with Super Duty and that requires making sure every employee feels empowered to speak up when there are issues.” Ford also greatly increased the number of quality checks along the assembly line. Once complete, every Super Duty is driven 25 miles by a Ford employee as an additional quality check to help identify issues before delivery. “We know Super Duty customers; they push their trucks to the limits,” said Kernahan, “There’s nothing that compares to putting vehicles out into the real world to see how they perform, so we tested Super Duty beyond its limits.” Choose From Powerful, More Powerful, or Way More Powerful The Super Duty is available with a choice of two gas or two diesel engines. The newest power plant is the 6.8-liter 2V DEVCT PFI Gas V8. This replacement for the previous flex-fuel engine produces 405 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. The 7.3-liter OHV PFI engine is the most powerful gas V8 in its class, with 430 horsepower and 485 lb-ft of torque.  If greater torque is what you need, look to the two 6.7-liter turbo diesel V8s starting with the Power Stroke producing 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque and topping out with the  High Output Power Stroke producing a class-leading 500 hp and 1,200 lb-ft. Powerfully Connected and Versatile Listening to customers has led the Super-Duty to be Ford’s most connected truck ever, starting with being the first pickup in the U.S. with embedded 5G capability. The Qualcomm 5G modem can provide a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 10 devices to keep workers connected while on the job site.  For those who convert their SuperDutys, the new Ford Pro Upfit Integration System is designed for customers to simplify upfits. “Whether it is mining, emergency response, utility services, or towing a boat, Super Duty is the tool for that gets the job done, and we know our customers are thrilled that it is coming,” said Cannis. The 2023 Ford Super Duty has not arrived at Benna Ford as of this writing, but we are all looking forward to when it does later this summer.  If you are interested in the 2023 Super Duty, contact one of our Benna Ford Sales professionals for updated timing on their arrival.

2024 Ford Ranger preproduction model shown. Available late summer 2023. Actual production vehicle may vary. Do not attempt unless you have special off-road driving training and are driving on a closed course. Always consult the owner’s manual before off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty, and use appropriate safety gear.

All-New 2024 Ranger Raptor Bursts Onto the Scene

This is a blog entry Benna Ford has been eagerly waiting to post. Ford announces the arrival of the Ranger Raptor. The F-150 Raptor has been quite a success, but bigger isn’t always better off-road. So, with the knowledge that a new mid-size Ranger was coming, many have hoped there would be a mid-size Raptor as well. They will not be disappointed. The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor ® will be the most powerful, high-performance, and off-road capable Ranger ever. It has been designed and engineered by Ford Performance to take off-road capability to the next level among midsize trucks. And it has already proved itself. A pre-production Ranger Raptor won the stock midclass category of the Baja 1000, completing the course in 26 hours and 21 minutes. It was then in fine shape to be driven 200 miles back home to California. Serious Suspension, Choice Chassis It all starts with the suspension, which is purpose-built for the Ranger Raptor. The basic geometry has aluminum upper and lower control arms in the front and a long-travel Watts linkage with trailing arms for the rear. Next-generation FOX™ 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass shocks are coil-overs at the front with piggyback reservoirs at the rear for reduced heat build-up to enable uninterrupted day-long performance. The Raptor takes the Ranger’s already robust fully boxed frame and adds reinforcements for the front frame rails, front shock towers, rear shock brackets, suspension mounting points, and other key points so you don’t have to baby it when the ground gets rough.  For the tricky slow-moving parts, Ranger Raptor also comes with Trail Control™, so drivers can navigate tricky spots while the truck manages the throttle and brakes to keep a steady speed.  It is also equipped with both a 360-Degree and Front View Camera to give you sight beyond your driving position. The Ranger Raptor is versatile, with adjustments to coincide with the immediate task on-hand, starting with the switchable drive modes of Normal, Tow/Haul, Sport, Slippery, Off-Road, Rock Crawl, and Baja. Each drive mode appropriately adjusts the FOX™ Live Valve Internal Bypass system damping, throttle response, transmission logic, ABS calibration, traction control, and steering assist, and even determines the appearance and provided information on the instrument cluster and touchscreen. The Raptor’s active valve exhaust system can also be tuned to several modes, including Quiet, Normal, Sport, and Baja. For the Power Hungry Power comes from a Ford Performance-tuned twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost ® V6 producing a class-leading 405 horsepower and 430 lb.-ft. of torque. It easily makes the Raptor the most powerful Ranger, with plenty of power on hand for the gravel, dirt, mud, and sand. The engine includes a race-bred anti-turbo-lag system so that when Baja mode is selected, the turbochargers remain spinning for up to three seconds after the throttle is reduced, such as when coming into a corner so that on-demand acceleration is on-hand for the corner exit. All that horsepower and torque is channeled through a 10-speed SelectShift ® automatic transmission and then to an advanced four-wheel drive system complete with a new electronically controlled on-demand two-speed transfer case and both front and rear locking differentials. It all meets the ground with 33-inch BFGoodrich ® all-terrain KO3 ® tires on 17-inch wheels. The tires can also be mounted to optional beadlock-capable wheels for running extra low tire pressures in the sand and rocky conditions. Protecting the Ranger Raptor’s belly is a thick front high-strength steel skid plate with additional shields for the engine, transfer case, and fuel tank. Interior Stays on Purpose The Raptor’s interior is equally purpose-built with well-bolstered Ford Performance front seats to hold drivers in place during high-speed cornering and single-side bumps. The sport steering wheel has a signature Raptor Code Orange centering mark. Code Orange trim can be found throughout the cabin. Just behind the tiller are cast magnesium alloy paddle shifters for quick transmission control. Six overhead upfitter switches are mounted in the overhead console, ready to connect to aftermarket lights, winches, or other off-road hardware. The driver also has at their command an array of technology to facilitate the Raptor’s off-road duty, including the previously mentioned cameras, Zone Lighting helps bring night visibility to remote locations, and class-exclusive* Pro Trailer Backup Assist to ease reversing with a trailer in tow. The Raptor is designed to be an on-pavement companion as well with a high-resolution 12.4-inch digital driver’s instrument cluster and a 12-inch center touchscreen. Operating the screen and all infotainment functions is Ford’s SYNC ® 4A system, which includes wireless Apple CarPlay ® and Android Auto™ connectivity so your phone can be secure when things get bumpy. Helping set the proper mood on the way to and from the off-road playground is a Bang & Olufsen ® sound system. If this sounds like the truck you’ve been waiting for, the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor will be making its way from its Wayne, Michigan Assembly Plant to Benna Ford around late summer. Pre-orders are being taken now, so contact one of our Beena Ford sales professionals for more information.

Red Ford Ranger Raptor catching some air in the desert mountains

Give A Welcome to the Redesigned Ford Ranger

The new Ranger is completely redesigned with a new exterior, interior, new engine, and for the first time, a Ranger Raptor. This will be the first redesigned Ranger since the model returned to the U.S. in 2019 after an 8-year hiatus. The Ranger is a global model sold in 180 markets around the world. In many of them, it has the same bedrock status the F-150 has in the U.S. The first new Rangers can expect to arrive in the Benna Ford showroom in late summer. Completing the Only 3-Pickup Model Lineup in the U.S. Once Ford’s small pickup, the Ranger now fits squarely between the top-selling F-150 and the hot new compact Maverick hybrid. The new Ranger is now longer and wider with a two-inch longer wheelbase and two inches added to the track, which also leads to a wider bed. Both 4- and 6-Cylinder Turbocharged Engines The base engine will be the 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost inline-4 producing 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. Unlike competitors from GM and Toyota, the Ranger will also offer the smooth power delivery of a V6 engine. with the available 2.7-liter, EcoBoost V6 currently found in the F-150 and Bronco. The engine will produce 315 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Regardless of engine choice, all Rangers will have a class-exclusive 10-speed SelectShift transmission ensuring the engine is at the optimal rpm in all conditions. All trims will be available with an electronic shift-on-the-fly 4x4 system built for immediate on-demand off-road and low traction capability. All models will be configured with the 4-door crew cab and a 5-foot bed and continue to feature a full-box steel frame. The rear shocks and shock mounts have been moved outboard of the frame rails for improved ride and control. All new Rangers will benefit from improved ground clearance and better approach and departure angles. The model will have a towing capacity of up to 7,500 pounds and a maximum available payload capacity of 1,805 pounds. Redesigned Interior Includes Several New Features The completely redesigned instrument panel will include a digital instrument cluster for all models. The standard cluster will be 8 inches, with 12.4 inches as an option. The 10.1-inch center touchscreen is best-in-class for standard displays, and a 12-inch display is available. Ford’s SYNC ® 4A  system will power the infotainment interface and will include a standard 4G LTE modem, wireless phone mirroring, and the ability to receive over-the-air software updates. T he interior includes clever storage and useful features such as an available wireless charger, a large center console storage bin, big door pockets, and even an available second upper glove box.  Rear cabin storage is also enhanced with under-seat rear cargo bins and fold-flat rear seatbacks for moving large objects you want to be secured inside. There is additional room behind the seats for tools and other equipment. Though Bluecruise is not available, Ranger still has the most available driver-assist features in its class. These include Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, and BLIS ® with Trailer Coverage, which warns of vehicles in blind spots while towing. The Lariat features a short-throw E-shifter that enables features such as the available Active Park Assist 2.0, a fully-automated system to assist with parallel and perpendicular parking in tight spots. Other towing features include Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Trailer Reverse Guidance, which uses cameras to show angles surrounding the truck and provides real-time coaching on how to maneuver the trailer. Introducing the Ranger Raptor The completely new Range Raptor will come exclusively with a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 and, like the Bronco and F-150 Raptor models, will include an advanced four-wheel drive system, a new electronically controlled on-demand two-speed transfer case, and front and rear locking differentials for improved off-road traction. Other Raptor features include a Fox Live Valve Internal Bypass System that changes damping performance based on seven drive modes that include normal, tow/haul, sport, slippery, off-road, rock crawl, and Baja. It has a long-travel suspension with aluminum upper and lower control arms up front and a rear Watt’s linkage with trailing arms. “Ranger Raptor is the high-performance off-road truck so many customers have been begging for. It’s right-sized for tight trails and daily life, can carry lots of gear, and is a blast to drive flat out,” Carl Widmann, Ford Performance chief engineer, said in a statement. “Ranger Raptor is fast, comfortable, and packed with top-shelf, purposeful technology that’s designed to perform. This is the baddest Ranger we’ve ever made.” Orders can now be taken at Benna Ford for all 2024 Rangers, with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost and Raptor models arriving in late summer and 2.7-liter EcoBoost models becoming available in the late fall.

Back and Better Than Ever: 2023 Ford Maverick

What is new and exciting about the 2023 Ford Maverick versus its previous model? There is so much that has changed! Here at Benna Ford, we are excited to spread the news about the upgrades to the Ford Maverick. From the interior and exterior, to what's under the hood, the Ford Brand has certainly created a buzz around this affordable sporty pickup. When designing the 2023 Ford Maverick, there was only efficiency and innovation in mind. What Has Really Changed? When you break it down, the Ford Maverick is designed differently in four main categories; Exterior, interior, mechanical, and the packages offered. Let's take a deeper dive into these four areas to check out the exciting new changes. Exterior - The colors Rapid Red and Velocity Blue, exterior colors from the previous year, are discontinued to make way for the two new exterior colors. The 2023 Ford Maverick now comes in an Avalanche Gray and Atlas Blue Metallic. Interior - Inside, you will see that there is a soft vinyl-wrapped steering wheel that comes standard on the Lariat trim and on the XLT trim with the optional Luxury Package. The XL and XLT without the Luxury Package come with a urethane steering wheel. The 2022 Maverick had a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel on XLT trim with Luxury Package and on Lariat trim. Cruise control is standard on the 2023 Maverick XL trim, while it was standard on the XLT and Lariat trims in previous years but not available on the XL trim. The 2023 Maverick Lariat Luxury Package also includes SYNC 3 as part of the optional package, while it was unavailable for the 2022 model year. Mechanical - The 2023 Maverick powertrain lineup stays the same as in 2022, with a standard 2.5L I4 gasoline hybrid engine that generates 191 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque, paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive. The Maverick XL and XLT trims feature this engine. The optional 2.0L I4 EcoBoost engine comes with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, offering 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. This engine is available on all three trim levels. Furthermore, several functional features, such as bed tie-down locking rails, spray-in bedliner, and hard drop-in bedliner, are now available as standalone options instead of being included in a package. For XLT and Lariat trims, the remote start system is also available as a standalone option, having previously been included only in the XLT Luxury and Lariat Luxury packages. Packages - There have been significant changes to the Mavericks package lineup. The Tremor Off-Road Package is the highlight of these changes and can be added to Maverick XLT and Maverick Lariat trims for an extra $2,995. This package includes strong off-road suspension, Trail Control, front skid plates, and Advanced 4WD, as well as selectable Drive Modes for different driving conditions. The Tremor Package also has exterior features like a redesigned front bumper, unique grille, and 17-inch Machined-face Tarnished Dark Aluminum wheels with Orange painted pockets. The Tremor Orange theme is carried to the vehicle's interior, which features Black Onyx seats with Tremor Orange stitching and logos. The Tremor Appearance Package and the Black Appearance Package are also available options. And, once again, the Ford Bronco took a clean 1-2-3 finish at the recent King of the Hammers off-road competition in the Ultra4 4600 Stock Class. The stock class Every Man Bronco 4600s continue to showcase the development of new technologies, and these learnings can help us improve the vehicles our customers drive every day.” Special Edition Bronco For You Fox, the company behind the famous Fox Shocks and Fox Racing Shocks that Ford use for the Bronco and F-150, have developed and are selling the new Ford Bronco King of the Hammers Edition. 2024-Ford-Mustang-Dark-Horse-Release-Date-and-Engine-Specs_oem

Dark Horse Will Lead Mustang Performance for Its 2024 Model Launch

On September 14, 2022, Ford unveiled the 2024 Mustang–the first fully redesigned Mustang since 2015. Within that announcement came news of a new range-topping performance model called the Dark Horse. The Dark Horse will be the most powerful Mustang in the lineup–at least until the Shelby models appear–and now we have imagery of the car in a color known as Vapor Blue. This new hue is a color-shifting Blue Ember Metallic and will also be another Dark Horse color exclusive. Meaner Mechanicals The Dark Horse will be powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote V8, producing 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque. Engine enhancements from the GT500 include a dual throttle body intake and connect rods. Cooling will be augmented with a bespoke lighter radiator, more powerful fans, and an auxiliary oil cooler. Tremec manual 6-speed will channel power to the rear wheels with a specific transmission fluid cooler or a 10-speed automatic with paddle shifters. To shore up handling, the suspension will include larger rear sway bars, standard MagneRide magnetically controlled adaptive dampers, and a Torsen rear differential. Up front are Brembo 6-piston brakes with 13.9-inch rotors. The wheels are 19-inch but are staggered with 9.5-inch width up front and 10-inch in the rear, wearing standard Pirelli P Zero tires. An optional Handling Package brings stiffer springs, larger front and rear sway bars, and Pirelli Trofeo tires on one-inch-wider wider rims front and back. Arriving later in the model year will be available carbon fiber wheels, the first for a Mustang without a Shelby badge. It Looks the Business The Dark Horse lives up to its name with dark trim accentuating various aspects of this muscle car–even around the headlights. The black grille is divided into three crating trapezoidal “nostrils” on each side. The front bumper will be unique to the Dark Horse and feature what Ford refers to as “high gloss fangs”. For the first time, a Mustang “face” badge appears on the side, which also features lower side skirts. At the rear are darkened exhaust tips, a fixed wing, and a lower racing-derived diffuser. Gripping the specially molded steering wheel, you’ll recognize just how special this vehicle cockpit is, and not just due to the Cameros and European sports cars quickly receding behind you. In your hands is a thick flat-bottomed steering wheel wrapped in suede with Bright Indigo Blue stitching. Matching accent stitching also trims the seats, door panels, shift gate, and is color-matched by coordinating blue seatbelts. Up front, you receive all needed vehicle information through a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and an adjacent 13.2-inch center infotainment screen with “Black Alley” dash trim. Deep Indigo seats with unique perforation are available in an Appearance Package. The 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse will have a starting MSRP of $57,970 and is anticipated to be available sometime in late Q4 with very limited availability. In the months to come, speak with our Genuine Ford Representatives regarding how to acquire your own 2024 Mustang Dark Horse in advance.

Ford EV Battery Pack in Production

Ford Increases Production of EV Batteries in United States

Electric power represents the future of the automotive industry and in the Ford lineup - that includes the 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning, the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-e and more. Finding a Parking Space and Lower Fuel Prices Made Easier with SYNC 4

Ford made connectivity available to you when the original SYNC infotainment and connectivity system was introduced in 2007. For 2021, a new generation of SYNC will be introduced to Ford’s newest models – the F-150, Mustang Mach-E, and Bronco two- and four-door. It will add more connectivity and in-car infotainment features to its successful system. One of those features will help you find the lowest fuel prices in the Twin Ports and beyond, but also find you that perfect parking spot on Tower Avenue or at the DECC. New features! This feature was developed by INRIX, Inc., a leading provider of connected car service and transportation analytics. As part of SYNC 4 with navigation, you can easily find, compare, and navigate to available parking spaces, along with searching for the lowest fuel prices and directions to drive to a station nearby. Imagine driving your new Ford over to Miller Hill. There’s plenty of gas stations in that area. If you’re low on fuel, touch the SYNC 4 or talk to it. Ask for the lowest fuel price and where it is located using the navigation system. Then, ask the system to find you a parking space right by Target or at the mall. Same way you asked for a lower fuel price – through the touchscreen or by voice – and your parking space is found. It will guide you to that space. Which models? This great addition to SYNC 4 is coming soon to Benna Ford with the arrival of the 2021 F-150, Mustang Mach-E, and Bronco two- and four-door.
