What Comes With the 2023 Ford Transit Trail?

There was once a time when the Ford Transit was mostly considered a commercial vehicle, meeting the unique needs of small business owners. Today, however, the Transit is not only a great vehicle for business owners but also a great vehicle for those living the van life.

Ford’s new Transit Trail model for the 2023 model year is the perfect example of that. It comes in three distinct configurations, including the option of a medium or high roof height.

Transit Trail Features

Your 2023 Ford Transit Trail model will be powered by a 2.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that is capable of putting you in command of 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. This is all paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission and an AWD system. To help you better conquer your next adventure, the Transit Trail also offers unique driving modes that include Normal, Eco, Mud/Ruts, Tow/Haul and Slippery. A Heavy Duty Trailer Package can make that Tow/Haul mode even more valuable to you by increasing your towing capacity to 6,500 lbs.

To help you with challenging off-road terrain, the Transit Trail has an increased ride height by 3.5 inches and a 2.5-inch wider track. To protect your vehicle on the unbeaten path, you’ll have a skid plate-style front bumper, splash guards, wheel arch cladding and front wheel arch liners.

Inside, the Transit Trail boasts some of the latest tech from Ford, including Blind Spot Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control, along with multimedia features available through a 12-inch touch screen. Of course, if you’re living that van life, you’ll also appreciate the Transit Trail’s 487 cubic feet of cargo space that can be upfitted straight from the factory in order to perfectly match your unique lifestyle.

The 2023 Ford Transit Trail starts at an MSRP of $65,975. If you’d like to experience it for yourself, let us know here at Benna Ford. We would be glad to get you behind the wheel.
