If one name is synonymous with off-roading excellence – that name is Ford.

This year, Ford will be the official vehicle of the King of The Hammers, ULTRA4 series – one of the most difficult, most extreme off-road competitions in the world combining high-speed desert racing with low-speed rock crawling.

This is a great connection between these hardcore off-road races and Ford, as we offer the most rugged lineup of great trucks and SUVs designed to go off-highway deep into the woods.

The season began with the King of The Hammers race in Johnson Valley, California on February 8. A lineup of 450 teams set off to tackle one of the toughest off-road races in this country. This included several teams of Ford vehicles in various classes.

Johnson Valley is a significant location for Ford as well. This is where Ford has been testing the upcoming 2021 Bronco.

While we await the arrival of the new Bronco, Ford has a growing lineup of rough and ready vehicles made for your outdoors lifestyle. The F-150 Raptor was designed to tackle anything, including the grueling desert races on the Baja California peninsula. The new F-Series Super Duty Tremor adds more grit and grip to our largest pickup trucks we offer. The Ranger pickup with the FX4 Off-Road package fits where most vehicles won’t and plays just as hard as they do.

You can check out the ULTRA4 series when it comes to Crandon, Wisconsin for the Crandon Spring Race, running from June 18 to 21.

In the meantime, check out our off-road capable machines at Benna Ford. Test drive one and become your own King Of The Hammers. You can also add some great accessories from Ford Performance from our parts department, too!
