Carroll Shelby knew a thing or two about high performance street trucks. He saw the possibilities of taking a vehicle made for work and making it a high-performance play machine. Shelby has done this for 30 years now, producing some of the most iconic performance trucks we have ever seen. Shelby American has just introduced the latest in its line of performance trucks – the F-150 Super Snake. This road-going performance truck is designed to rule the streets of your neighborhood – from the Twin Ports to your carport. With every Shelby vehicle, it starts from underneath the hood. The 5.0-liter V8 gets a high performance supercharger to yield 770 horsepower. The result is a 0-60 in 3.45 seconds and 0-100-0 in 8.3 seconds! – from a pickup truck! Air comes in through a RAM AIR system and comes out through a special Borla exhaust system. With that amount of power, Shelby lowered its F-150 Super Snake by using a set of front coil-over suspension setups with adjustable upper control arms. The Super Snake rides on a set of 22-inch Shelby alloy wheels on high performance tires. Extra style and performance are also added with the edition of Shelby exclusive front bumper and grilles, front splitter and aToneau cover with bed carpet. Inside the custom touches continue. Custom leather interior, serial numbered CSM dash and engine plates, custom floor mats, Shelby gauge replacement, billet racing pedals, deep tinted windows are just the start. There will only be 250 units built of the Shelby F-150 Super Snake. To celebrate over three decades of this special vehicle, this one’s not only for the collector, but for the enthusiast who wants more out of their Shelby F-150 experience.
