Ford Vans Big Business

Ford Vans Are Big For Your Business

In July of 2017, one segment came up in big in total vehicle sales in the USA. Take a guess as to which one it would be?

It would surprise you that the full-sized van was a big winner in vehicle sales.

Why are vans big right now? There are plenty of reasons for this, including annual fleet turnover and incentives to buy for small businesses to purchase or lease new equipment - including work vans.

At the top of the van sales chart is one name: Ford.

Benna Ford offers two vans: The Transit and the Transit Connect. Both are designed for all businesses and can fit the task necessary right down to size.

When the task is small, the Transit Connect delivers with a compact van that does a lot. The cargo van can carry up to 128.6 cubic feet of anything - flowers, packages, tools, or parts. All of this with payload ratings up to 1,610 pounds! The Transit Connect is also efficient, with an EPA highway rating of up to 27 MPG.

Ford Vans Are Big For Your Business

It is the only small van with a choice of wheelbases - 104.8 inches or 120.6 inches. You can also get two trim levels of the cargo van and three versions of the passenger van. The latter makes a very good option for carrying people across or beyond the Twin Harbors area. No other small van offers that power of choice.

You also have the power of choice when big tasks needs to be done. The larger Transit van has an array of roof, wheelbase, body length and engine choices that no other van in its class offers. Passenger versions also offer the choice of seating configurations that fit with the body length, roof height and wheelbase selection.

In all, the Transit van is designed to maximize the work that needs to be done in our community. It can hold a maximum of 487.2 cubic feet of anything you can work with. A six-foot-five tall person can work inside of a Transit standing up. The rear cargo doors can up out to a 237-degree angle. Payload ratings are generous - up to 4,560 pounds. All of this makes upfitting easy for the more organized work vans. The passenger wagon can seat up to 15 - great for rural transportation or an airport shuttle.
