When work has to be done, you need the right equipment. All it takes is a proven piece of equipment—a truck that can be upfitted with the right vocational bodies to accomplish the task, one that you can use in any situation that calls for a job well done. The F-650 and F-750 are the only line of Class 6-7 conventional trucks that you can equip with either a gasoline or diesel engine.

Performance

The 7.3-liter V-8 gas engine offers strong performance for tasks in town or for lighter duty. A heavy duty six-speed TorqShift automatic transmission works with the 7.3-liter V-8 for easy work. You can also convert this engine to run on CNG or propane through a gaseous fuel prep package. We can team up with a Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier to perform the fuel conversion.

The 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 diesel is for tougher jobs and for capacity needs. The ten-speed TorqShift heavy duty automatic transmission delivers efficiency towards the bottom line. Access to the engine and transmission is done by a titling fiberglass front hood.

With the F-650 and F-750, you are guaranteed that your truck will carry its own weight. The GVWR range is from 25,600 pounds to 37,000 pounds. Rear axle weight limits are critical for the work that needs to be done. The maximum rear axle weight rating is up to 26,000 pounds. Rear suspension weight limits max out at 31,000 pounds. To help level the load, you can add air suspension to the rear of your truck.

Exterior

The F-650 and F-750 series of trucks come standard with a full-length, black-painted front bumper with two integrated tow hooks mounted directly to the frame, and a black and grey grille. All diesel and gas-powered models can be optioned with a chrome-plated steel front bumper that is included in the Exterior Appearance Package. A chrome grille is also optional on the F-650 (both engines) and the F-750 (diesel). A full-width bumper extension that adds three inches can also be had on all F-650 and F-750 models.

Depending on the model of truck being purchased, a host of different size and style side mirrors are available, including heated dual-rectangular mirrors with integrated blind-spot mirrors.

Interior

Inside the cab of the F-650 and F-750 trucks, a modern instrument panel makes getting in the cab and driving as familiar as driving a Super Duty pickup. Drivers will find a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, standard Bluetooth functionality, AM/FM stereo radio, and USB ports. F-650 and F-750 models are available in Regular Cab, SuperCab, or CrewCab. The SuperCab seats five for a team to get on site with ease.

Technology

This truck keeps you connected with the home office and your clients. Standard is a modem with 4G LTE Wi-Fi for connecting up to ten devices. This helps keep drivers and crews connected while on the job or on the road. Ford Telematics and Ford Data Services are available to help commercial customers operate their fleets more efficiently.

Safety and Driver Assistance

These two F-Series Class 6-7 conventional trucks deliver vehicle safety on the job. On-road safety technologies include standard traction control and auto headlamps. Available are automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, electronic stability control, lane departure warning, Driver Alert System, and auto high-beam headlamps.
