Ford GT Wins 1-2 in Class at Rolex24 in Daytona

Motorsports season is on! And, Ford has taken the podium first!

In the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, the Chip Ganassi Ford GT took first and second place on the GTLM podium. IndyCar veteran Scott Dixon piloted the class winner, along with Richard Westbrook and Ryan Briscoe. The second place Ford GT was also piloted by an IndyCar veteran Sebastien Bourdais, along with Joey Hand and Dirk Mueller. Overall, both Ford GTs finished 11th and 12th - ahead of the yellow Corvettes, the Risi Ferraris, and the BMWs.

The next stop for the Chip Ganassi Ford GTs is the former airstrip known as Sebring. These teams are coming to Road America on August 3-5 for the Continental Tire Road Race Showcase.
