Penneys From Heaven's goal is to brighten the holiday season for local families in need, and we need your help!  Benna Ford is proud to be a supporter of this local non-profit organization in Superior, WI. Your generosity will help uplift 2 families in need this year. Penneys From Heaven works with the community to choose families that have fallen on rough times, through no fault of their own.  Families are chosen by nominations, and Penneys from Heaven contacts the nominators to find out what the families need most. These items include basic necessity items, household goods,  and clothing with sizes.


About The Families In Need


The first families of two families that we will be supporting this year has a mother that has been diagnosed with esophageal (eh-so-fuh-gee-all) cancer. She is receiving treatments that are making her very ill and unable to perform day to day activities, including work. Dad is now only working part time so he can help take care of his wife and children. There are a family of 7 which include a Mom, Dad, 14 year old boy, 13 year old boy, 10 year old girl, 7 year old boy and a 2 year old boy. 
The 2nd family has a child who has been diagnosed with cancer and has been placed on the transplant waiting list due to organ damage. Mom is unable to work now as medical appointments are split between Duluth and a hospital that is 200 miles away from their home. There are a family of 6 which include a Mom, Dad, 9 year old girl, 8 year old boy, 4 year old girl and a 1 year old girl.

How You Can Help Provide For These Families


In the customer lounge at Benna Ford there is a Penneys From Heaven Christmas Tree. The tree has been tagged with items and gift ideas for the families in need. Simply choose a tag or multiple tags and bring back the items to Benna Ford unwrapped. In the past we have had people donate items of their choice and that is totally ok! The items will be given to Penneys From Heaven who will wrap and distribute the items to the families. Benna Ford will be collecting items through Friday, December 17th 2021. We welcome all of you to join us in the spirit of giving this year and your generosity and thoughtfulness will go a long way for these families. Wishing wish you all a safe and happy holiday season!
